In 2008, Batman: The Brave and the Bold hit television screens. The animated show, loosely based on a DC Comic which focused on superhero ‘team-ups’, was bright, colourful, and a heck of a lot of fun.
Unlike more recent Batman cartoons of the time, which were dark and brooding (Batman: The Animated Series, The Batman, Batman Beyond), Batman: The Brave and the Bold was a more light-hearted show. It told stories from the Silver Age of comics (1950s, 1960s etc), and featured larger than life characters and plenty of laughs.
If you have never watched Batman: The Brave and the Bold, then I implore you to dive right in – this is a show you certainly don’t want to miss. And if you’re not sure where to start, or what the episodes featured in the series, then check out the episode list below!
