In 1992, Batman: The Animated Series made its debut. The cartoon show, based on the DC Comics character of the same name, followed the story of Batman and his ongoing battle for justice in Gotham City.
Upon making its debut, the series was deemed a hit with audiences and quickly became must-see television. Critics loved the smart writing, excellent plotting, and fantastic animation, while fans appreciated the care that was taken to ensure the Batman mythology was presented in a respectful and entertaining way.
One of the stand-out aspects of Batman: The Animated Series was its cast of villainous characters. One of these rogues was the icy-cold, Mr. Freeze aka Dr. Victor Fries, who appeared in the series multiple times.

Below is a list of every episode of Batman: The Animated Series featuring Mr. Freeze/Dr. Victor Fries. As you can see, while Freeze was an iconic (and fan-favourite) character, he only appeared in a few episodes.
In total, Mr. Freeze/Dr. Victor Fries appeared three times:
- Heart of Ice
- Deep Freeze
- Cold Comfort
In addition to his television appearances, Mr. Freeze also featured in the Batman: The Animated Series spin-off movie, Batman: Subzero (1998). The events of this movie take place between the TV episodes, Deep Freeze and Cold Comfort.
