During its opening weekend in the US, Batman Forever took over $52 million at the box office. According to Box Office Mojo, the exact total was $52,784,433.
This was a strong start for the movie, which had a production budget of $100 million. And by the time it had ended its run in the US, Batman Forever had climbed up to $184,069,126.
In addition to this, the film took a further $152,498,405 at the international box office. Combining the two figures, Batman Forever’s overall box office total hit $336,567,531.

The re-release

In 2019, to mark the 80th anniversary of the Caped Crusader, Batman Forever was re-released at the cinema as part of a limited screening alongside Batman ’89 (1989), Batman Returns (1992), and Batman & Robin (1997). After the re-release, Batman Forever made a further $38,014 domestically and $373 internationally, producing a combined total of $38,387.
