In summer 2018, Teen Titans GO! to the Movies was released in cinemas. The movie, which stars Scott Menville, Greg Cipes, Khary Payton, Tara Strong and Hynden Walch, was conceived as a spin-off from the popular animated show, Teen Titans GO!.

Ahead of the film’s release, Warner Bros. Animation/Pictures released a series of ‘red carpet’ posters to promotethe film. Over the space of a week the posters were uploaded on social media.

Each poster featured one Titan, as well as one iconic hero from the DC Expanded Universe. In this post, I am publishing all five posters.

The Teen Titans ‘red carpet’ posters

Here are the five red carpet posters used to promote Teen Titans GO! to the Movies.

First up is the Raven poster, which also features Wonder Woman. The caption “A tiara? How adorable”, highlights Raven’s sarcastic nature.

Starfire shares her poster with the Flash. Starfire makes the very valid comment: “But he can’t even fly!”

And finally, here is Robin, sizing up Batman. Robin is seen to be questioning Batman’s popularity, with the statement: “What’s he got that I don’t?”

In addition to the red carpet posters, Warner Bros. also released another poster, which spoofed 2017’s live-action Justice League. The poster featured all five Titans, along with a message: “They can’t save the world… at all.”

The Teen Titans GO! to the Movies posters were a lot of fun, and made it clear to audiences this was not going to be a serious movie – in fact, far from it! The playful element of the original animated series was being carried through into the big screen adventure, and the film certainly wasn’t afraid to poke fun at the wider DC Universe.

Want one final poster?

Oh, OK then.

This was a more stripped back poster, simply highlighting the fact the Titans were becoming movie stars. Simple, yet effective.
