List of Superman: The Animated Series episodes

During the 1990s, the Man of Steel took to the small screen to headline a new cartoon show – Superman: The Animated Series. The show – a spin-off of Batman: The Animated Series – aired on The WB network and ran for a total of three seasons, comprising 54 episodes.

Superman: The Animated Series was an excellent take on the Superman mythology. The series featured some great villains, excellent action scenes, and some very strong writing.

Season One: 1996 – 1997

Season One of Superman: The Animated Series aired between September 6^th 1996 and February 15^th 1997. The first season included a total of thirteen episodes, introduced characters including Lex Luthor, Brainiac, Toyman, Metallo, Parasite, and Lobo, and retold the origin of Superman.
